Topeka Rescue Mission:

 We have recently started to partner with the mission as a remote drop site for food and clothing.  If you have friends or co-workers that are looking for a place to bring donations let them know our church is a place to do that!

 

Present Needs:

Nonperishable food items are always needed and a vital part of the mission program, the next time you are at the store - pick up a few extra things to give to those in need. 

 

Also clothes are needed so if you have some good clothes that are not being used – let someone get some use out of them.

 

 

 

Quinton Heights

Elementary School

 

Here are some ways we are able to help a school in our community...

 

1. We are collecting hats and gloves this winter to give to the kids.

 

2. We need to volunteer to listen to kids read and also be "lunch buddies" from time to time. See pastor for a volunteer application

 

3. This coming spring we are going to take care of the flower beds at the school by donating both flowers and labor.
